To tell you the truth, I do not believe that Bruce Lee was sure about God. It seemed he was always searching and thinking. It is said that when asked by journalist Alex Ben Block in the summer of 1972 what his religious affiliation was, Lee answered: 'None whatsoever.' When he was asked if he believed in God, he said: 'To be perfectly frank, I really do not.' However, it took him a little while before he answered. See it here in the video:Bruce was very young. He experienced a lot of things and was always trying to put things together. He studied a lot of philosophy and books. Some things just don't mix and things can get confusing. It's alright to learn about different things, but God is something that we should be sure of and learn about. It is not for me to explain whether God might have accepted him or not. But I do believe that God gave Bruce a chance to see that there is a God. I believe that Bruce wanted to know. He said that he felt a great force and untapped power. I believe that it was God because of the way Bruce described the force. The way Bruce described the force sounds just like God. I know that it was a feeling that might have felt good to Bruce. Knowing Bruce Lee, he wanted to find out about that force. I believe that in the end, he accepted God before he took his last breath. I feel something within me too that Bruce might have made it.

Bruce Lee - King and Priest of Kung Fu

To me, Bruce Lee is a king and priest of Kung Fu. He was a man that could have had many titles. Bruce knew more than one style in Kung Fu and combined them all. He kept on learning and kept on combining. There was no end to it. Bruce kept moving higher and higher which made him above all in Kung Fu.

Bruce also was a philosophy man. That made him more than king. To me, philosophy was Bruce Lee’s highest form of Kung Fu. I think that philosophy made him a priest. So he is a king and a priest. Many call him the dragon and the master of Kung Fu. I do not think anyone has named him the king or priest of Kung Fu, but that is how I see him.

The documentary helps you to see Bruce Lee's philosophy and the meaning behind what he was trying to say to the world. I have not seen the film, but it seems to take you more to the truth about Bruce because everybody seems to have their own story and version of him. A lot of us did not know anything about him as far as who he really was as a person. We watched his movies and movies that were made about his life that may not have been totally true. You know how Hollywood is. Movie makers love fantasy and money. People have been misled about things that have not been true. We have been fed lies and junk, but in Shannon Lee's documentary, you get to see more of what is true and educational.

Bruce Lee has become influential in many parts of the world, even today so many years after his death. Bruce has been awarded many honors and tributes in his life time and beyond. Some of the more recent honors are listed below.
1. A popular Hip Hop group in China released a tribute song to Lee in 2001.
2. U.F.C. president Dana White has been quoted as calling Bruce Lee the "father of mixed martial arts".
3. In 2005, a city in Bosnia erected a statue of Lee in his honor. After years of war in Bosnia, the statue of Bruce Lee was to represent his bridging the culture gaps of the world.
4. In 2005, a statue was erected for Lee's 65th birthday. The statue honored Lee as Chinese film's Bright Star of the Century.
5. In 2007 a Japanese national survey named Bruce Lee as one of histories most influential people. Even today he is also still considered by many to be the greatest martial artist of all time.
6. Time Magazine named Bruce as among the 100 Most Important People of the Century.
7. In 2004 Bruce was honored with the Ethnic Multicultural Academy Legend Award in London. This award has also been given to Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. and Mahatma Gandhi.
8. Plans are being made to convert Bruce Lee's Hong Kong home into a museum. It is now a Love Hotel and a competition has been started for the best design to convert it into a museum honoring Bruce.
9. In Bruce's ancestral town, a street was named after him and the home is open to visitors.
10. Approximately 11 films and documentaries have been made about Bruce Lee. The most recent was a 50 part series on Lee filmed in China; it was supposed to show in 2008.
More recently was the announcement of a 3 part film about Bruce Lee that is to be made with the support his family.
There are probably more honors and awards out there but these are the more notable. We can expect to see more books, documentaries and there me be a musical about Bruce lee coming to Broadway. Bruce Lee's legend continues to live on.

LEGACY is something from the past that can be handed down from generation to generation. PROPHECY in God is a divine prediction of the future. A MYTH can be an a story about someone famous like Bruce Lee. Bruce did exist and now he is a myth. There are people that believe that he is still alive. A MIRACLE is the act of God, and it is always real. There is miracle without myth. There is prophecy without legacy. It would be a miracle to see Bruce. It is prophecy that we will meet those that are gone in Christ coming.

(1 Thessalonians 4: 17) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. If Bruce is in heaven, we will get to meet him if we make it to heaven too. He would want us to remember him and the Legacy is okay. However, Bruce would want us to believe the things that are true and focus on the things that are real. Do you ever wonder what Bruce might be doing in the future? Which thing would you rather see? Would you want to stay in the past of a legacy or see the future of prophecy? Would you rather have myth or something greater like a miracle? The reason I say that Bruce Lee was learning the spirit of the Lord is because he said to be like water and seemed to have understood it in his own way. However, the Bible tells us exactly what water is all about. Water is about Jesus. Revelation 1:15 And his feet like to fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

If you study your Bible, you know that Jesus is the holy ghost. That is probably why Bruce Lee could move so fast. The Lord gave him a talent to move quickly although Bruce Lee might not have acknowledged God or might not have given God the glory. We all need to keep in mind to give God the glory and not ourselves.

Bruce Lee studied and meditated and he used philosophy in Kung Fu. Jesus prayed to his father God, and did the works of his father. He did great miracles and many things.

St.John 2: 1-11 Jesus turned water into wine. This was Jesus first sign.

John 19:35 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and immediately came there out blood and water.

The spritual meaning of the waters is found in Revelation 17:15 and are are peoples, and nations, and tongues.

I could go on and on about water. Water was here from the beginning. Genesis 1:12 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved on the face of the waters.

So Bruce Lee told us a spiritual thing when he told us to be like water. In order to understand how to be like water, we need to learn who Jesus is. Then we too can be like water and much more because Jesus is everything.

When You're Faster Than Everyone Else

When I was in Kindergarten, I could not understand why I was made to face the wall in a corner. I did not disturb anyone, and I was quite in the class. As I got older, my mother told me that I had a high IQ and the teacher wanted to skip me to first grade. However, my mother wanted me to learn like the rest of the students. When the teacher finally let me learn with the rest of the students, I could not read, but I could hear a story and tell you what it was about. There were students in my class that could read, and I did not know how. When I did not like something, I felt that I could not learn it. I had to study very hard. My mother called me stubborn and would make me learn. I laugh at myself today. My mother called me stubborn before she passed away.

My mother also had great knowledge. When I became an adult, I warned her that she was on a higher level than most. My mother would disagree with folks all of the time. She always had to guard her tongue, but when she spoke, she would not bite her tongue. My mother told it like it was. Sometimes people hated her for it, but in the long run, some appreciated it.

Bruce Lee

When I look at Bruce Lee and what he did, I can see that he was faster in learning than everyone else. When Bruce was weak in Kung Fu with a certain style, by the time an opponent met him to fight again, he had already learned something new. Bruce was constantly learning. The other guys did not have the heart like he did. What Bruce Lee had inside was what made him the best. Other guys would seem to learn to fight and that was it. Bruce Lee was always expanding his knowledge and style. Other guys kept their secrets to themselves and did not share maybe. They thought nothing should be changed. Bruce was forever learning, sharing, and creating on top of that. He was a genius and had a master mind. Not only in Kung Fu, but Bruce had other abilities. He was rare and had rare talent.

Most of the time, people become very jealous of people that have great knowledge. That should not be. It's not easy. The thing that I have learned is sometimes it's good to share and sometimes it is not. Sometimes you have to slow down and lay low. Sometimes it's hard to be accepted.

Shannon Lee has a production company called LeeWay Media. Shannon Lee works on projects for television, film and new media. Shannon does a great job. I love her documentaries, but most of all, I love her 50 episode Chinese language television series based on the life of her father, Bruce Lee. The series was a huge success. This proves that Shannon Lee is great in what she knows and her series should have been known world wide. When I say world wide I mean, United States, United Kingdom, Japan, Germany, and all over the world. You would think that Bruce Lee has fans everywhere.

New Ideas

Well, enough about the series. Let's talk about new ideas. People are still making movies based on Bruce Lee. Shannon Lee could do the same if she wanted to. If her father was alive today, he would have made many movies and played many characters. If Shannon can see and understand her father's way of thinking, she could take it from there. She could go back and look at all of the things her father did in order to create more. Shannon could use a logo representing her father in the films making new characters.

Example

Danny Chan is a perfect example. He is like Bruce Lee's successor. In the past, it was Bruce Li. Some fans of Bruce Lee are real picky and say that no one is as great as Bruce Lee. Of course not, but some folks tend to forget if the movie is good. For one thing, Bruce Lee could kick a man across the room and film producers add too much with technology in film. If Bruce was alive, he would make it real. Well, people seem to enjoy IP Man (Donnie Yen). That's what I mean about another name. Danny Chan has his own name, and these guys have helped to carry on the Bruce Lee legacy. I'm thankful and grateful that they did. I want to see more movies from the LeeWay Media.

According to the movie, The Legend of Bruce Lee, Bruce learned other martial art styles from others that knew martial arts. He learned from the best. However, Bruce was sometimes beaten, and then that made him study and work on what he needed to work on. Bruce Lee gathered all of the info he could and combined it all as one. Bruce was creating a style of his own. People kept secrets to themselves but Bruce did not. He taught what he knew to others and he learned from others.

According to the movie, "The Legend of Bruce Lee", Bruce Lee's college teacher points out to Bruce that he used a plain Tai Chi diagram to simplify what he wanted to say. It's the truth. What Bruce had to say was probably long, and a person studying what he had to say was probably too much to learn at one time. Bruce Lee's college teacher told Bruce that he is was genius. I thought so too. His teacher said that people can complicate simple problems. Those people are called philosophers. But a true wise man, a true genius, would simplify a very complicated thing.

Only the Chinese people were allowed to learn martial arts. The person that posted this video stated that Bruce Lee changed the world and you don't even know it. I agree. Bruce Lee went beyond the rules about race. He did not care what race you were from. Bruce shared what he knew, and he had an impact on this world. With his martial arts, he brought everyone together with his culture. The black race saw a black man in Bruce, and the white man knew that Bruce had something different and special. He seemed like kin to everyone somehow. Bruce became a part of us all. He was able to make movies and share his martial arts through films. People loved what he did.

Family

Right this very day, somehow I still feel that Bruce Lee is alive spiritually. In my dreams, he talks about family. Some dreams are real because of the true messages sent from God. I see his image and hear his voice telling me to stay in the Bible. It is said that when he was alive Bruce didn't believe in God. It is my philosophy when I say you can't always judge a man by what he has done. We don't know what Bruce had in his heart when he left us. People change, their beliefs can change, and their hearts can change. People have to learn and grow. God gives us plenty of time, even before we take our last breath. Bruce Lee was good deep down inside and you could tell. He was not prejudice and he was kind to people. Bruce accepted you when you wanted to learn and share. If he had struck anyone with the fist, it was because that person may have asked for it. I'm sure people were always testing and trying him. There is a limit on how much a person can take. Bruce showed us that we are all people, and I believe God used him. He showed us that we can be family beyond race.

The 50 episodes long series, "The Legend of Bruce Lee", would be great for television in America. I have not seen all of the episodes, but I know that it is a great biography of Bruce. Watching the movie, I have learned much more about him. From my understanding, the movie was a big hit in China. I don't know why it was not aired in America. There is nothing on television, and I do not think there are any television shows that could compete with it now.

His Kung Fu did not teach some of us violence like you see today. Today we see guns and weapons. Bruce taught some of us to exercise the body, and if anybody bothered us, his Kung Fu taught us self-defense. Sometimes fighting is needed. Bruce taught us to fight without guns and weapons. If Bruce Lee was living today and could see how much our world has changed since he has been gone, I'm sure he would teach us more about the spiritual and how to live right. I'm pretty sure he needed his own philosophy. There are so many of us out in the world that are lost today. Bruce Lee had a good influence on some of us. He made us want to be better people and make something of ourselves. Bruce Lee still inspires some of us. We need more people like Bruce Lee to lead and open the minds of the people. I think his most famous words are: "Be Like Water, My Friend." His words has made me think of a spiritual body. Bruce Lee had a spiritual mind inside a physical body. Now he is spiritual.

When I think about Bruce Lee, I think about my cousin. He was a missionary spreading the word of God overseas. My cousin died over there before the year of 1990 of my graduation day in high school. Yet, people are still writing letters to my great Aunt which is his mother. They are writing to her about how he had inspired and helped them so much in his teachings.

On the day that my cousin got sick and died overseas, that was the same day that his sister and I stayed close by each other. We had a feeling that something was going to happen, but we did not know what was going to happen. Then we got the sad news that her brother died overseas. People wanted to investigate his death. My mother thought that his death should be investigated, but it was up to his mother and father. Whether it was investigated or not, I do not know. My cousin never had a sick day in his life, but being in a different environment could have changed things for his health.

My mother had a very detective mind. She said to me about my cousin, “We can be told anything. I’m not saying that he isn’t dead, but he might not be. He could be somewhere alive knocked out or held as a prisoner.” My mother told the truth. Sometimes we need to make sure about things. As far as I know, my cousin is dead, but I never saw his body. I did not want to see him dead.

When I was small, I heard my mother say some things about Bruce Lee’s death too. She said, “ That does not look like him in that coffin. Child, people can do some amazing things.” However, when I got older, my mother saw that Bruce Lee might have been a little obsessed with himself in Kung Fu. When she was dying, she told me that the rumors about Bruce Lee being alive might not have been true. My mother never looked at things one way. Sometimes she would laugh at herself and tell me that she was only speculating.

Sometimes we have no control over things. Some things are just out of our hands. There were people that wished my mother dead, but I can hear my mother spiritually in my mind saying, “It was God’s will. It was meant for me to die. It was my time to go. I‘ll be back later on.” I do not know what later on means. It could mean she’ll be back sometime in the future real soon.

God does not like for me to think that it’s over, and it’s not over. God has spoken to me a hundred times about the dead being raised, but he has his time when he wants them to come back. He told me that he can bring some of the dead back even now and that all things are possible. God told me to never let go of my faith. God has got it all in control. Seek God. I believe he’s the reason that we sometimes feel our loved ones that have passed and gone. We are all one spirit family in Christ.

According to history, the Tai Chi Chuan symbol of Ying Yang was invented over 3000 years ago in China. It is believed that there are two forces in the universe, and all things contain Ying and Yang. As I do research on the symbol, I find that there are different versions of the image. It is said that Bruce Lee developed a wide-ranging interest in all religions and philosophies, from Taoism to Protestantism.

Until reading the book about Bruce Lee, I never knew that Bruce Lee's mother was Catholic. Maybe that's why I had a dream about him that I didn't understand. His appearance looked kind of Catholic. I would often wonder what Bruce Lee's religion really was and what he accepted. When I was a teenager, I asked my mom if she knew. She thought Bruce Lee might have read the King James Bible because she knew that he probably read a lot of books.

To be honest, some of Bruce Lee's philosophy helped me to understand the things I was learning in God. Some things in his philosophy reminded me of the things I learned in the Bible. I'm sure Bruce Lee learned a lot about patience and wisdom and endurance. I believed that it was good that Bruce learned philosophy. It is good to learn different things and different ways as long as you don't get confused and become misguided into the wrong thing.

Bruce Lee had to practice Kung Fu but he did not seem to envy. He found himself in Kung Fu and not someone else. That made him the best. Bruce was humble and wanted to share. That made him genuine. Bruce Lee was like water alright. I could see it in his movement. To me, Bruce Lee was rare with his talent and abilities. I do not see very many people like him that like to share their capabilities. People are always trying to outdo one another and trying to get ahead of somebody else. Everybody wants to be on top and have it all. All of the people living in America that did not have Bruce Lee as a teacher have some idea what Kung Fu is because of him. When we think of Kung Fu, Bruce Lee always comes to mind. I think of Bruce Lee as a man with soul.

But he doubted whether they did it for friendship or for their own gain. I would have loved to have been his friend to hear him talk about philosophy. I would have wanted to know him as a person and not for his Kung Fu. All that kicking and chopping would not have been easy for me. I probably would have pretended to throw a punch at him playfully, and probably would have been sorry. Just watching Bruce Lee in movies when I was a little girl was exciting, and I was crazy about him. Right this very day, I love Bruce Lee and wish I could see more of him. There is something inside me that makes me feel like I feel him. I believe that love is beyond death and love is God. We are all his children and one spirit family. I believe that Bruce has moved up to a higher level, and the fist of fury is now telling us to fight for our souls. We must strive for perfection so that we can go higher too.

Linda and Bruce Lee knew that their children were special. Did Brandon know? He was like his father but was not his father. Still, he had great acting talent. Shannon can act and is also a business woman. I think that Shannon and Brandon Lee are like both parents. That makes them have a mixture of talent from both sides.

When you are a child, you grow up hearing people telling you all sorts of things. Adults tell you that you look like your parents and act like them. We are suppose to, but when we grow up, we find how unlike our parents we are. My mother could landscape, do yard work, cook, and decorate a house. Those things were her talents and hobbies and those things she loved to do. I do not have a great love for the yard and house the way my mother did. It's sometimes hard to keep everything the way that she kept it now that she is gone. I have to do things my way, but I have the ability and mind to fix things like she had the ability. I'm all confused because I'm like both of my parents. Both of them come out of me and my brother. My mother knew how to manage money and save, and my father likes to spend money. My brother and I both spend and save.

Bruce Lee might had been a fan of Samurai movies. I was reading the "Letters of the Dragon" book about Bruce Lee. He wrote a letter to Fred Sato in 1966 and told him to watch for a blind swordsman movie. If Bruce had lived, I'm pretty sure that he would have made some Samurai movies. I feel strongly that he would have made some great ones. It was not meant to be, and I feel sort of sad about it. I can see all that he could have done. Sometimes things do not happen for our protection. Bruce was great, and I'm sure there would have been some tests and trials for him. He made Kung Fu his own and there was a Samurai in him. We would have seen Chinese and Japanese history through him. When it came to Kung Fu, Bruce Lee was everything about it.

He wrote to someone named Viki and said, "The art I use on TV is not karate. It is the ancestor of karate and is known as gung fu, which is of Chinese origin (so is karate)." Bruce Lee knew history, and he would have invented more, and he would have made it his own way. He would have brought us something new, better, and exciting. Bruce Lee was an encyclopedia of Kung Fu. He had a natural born gift that took a lot of practice. I believe he had an great impact on the world when it came to fighting. Gung Fu is more than fighting from what I have read in one of the books of Bruce Lee. Bruce Lee said that Gung Fu is practiced not only for health and protection, but cultivation of the mind as well. Gung Fu was used by Taoist priest and monks as a philosophy. I believe that the philosophy part of Gung Fu might have been a very high level because it involved the mind rather than the fist. Some wisdom was involved. That is a good thing. Some Christians criticize Gung Fu that it is violent and not good. However, Bruce Lee told us how it could be good. Self-Defense is a good thing. It doesn't hurt to know a little Gung Fu if you are being attacked by someone in this tough old world. It may help you to get back home safely to be with your loved ones. We have God, but I do not think God is going to punish a person for having an extra ability. Great Bible men had to fight war and God was on their side.

I also see Gung Fu as exercise. You get to exercise the legs, the arms, the thighs, and all of the parts of your body. I think Gung Fu can be good for you. We sometimes look for all of the bad, but we should look and see what is good. Anything can be bad if we make it bad, and we can use our abilities for good instead of bad.

Today, I am reading the book, "Letters of the Dragon". From what I have learned on one of the pages of the book, Bruce Lee spoke his mind. If he thought something was bull, he said it was bull. Bruce Lee spoke about what he believed. I like the kind of person he was because he was not a phony. If you knew Bruce, he probably allowed you to see the real him from what I gather. It's better to be real than to be a fake. People will appreciate that much better.

From what I gather, Bruce Lee had a temper too. These days, I have one myself. I use to keep quite and everyone ran over me. Now, I have to learn to be calm and quite all over again. I have to learn when to speak my mind. Anger can make you say or do something quickly without thinking. Then if you have a heart or conscious, later, you feel bad. However, I believe that anger is sometimes needed. Even the God above that created us is sometimes angry.

When I read about Bruce, I feel that I am reading about myself. For the most part, I believe that Bruce Lee was a good guy. There is good and bad in everyone. We must strive for perfection and learn as we keep living.

Secretly Using Kung Fu at Work

When I got my first job, I was allowed to be trained and work on the assembly line with my mother. We had to build faucets and pack them in boxes. My mother had already told me how the younger girls would try to stack her up with loads of boxes competing with her. She would beat them every time.

When I was allowed to work beside my mother, she whispered to me that packing the boxes and closing the lids was like Kung Fu. When she closed the lids of the boxes, I saw the movement in her hands. My mother formed her hands as she was about to do Kung Fu. She quickly slapped the lids closed and pushed the boxes on down to the end of the line. My mother got me motivated on what to do.

After my mother passed away, I lost motivation on doing anything. When she died, a part of me died too. A part of me is still dead. She had a lot of patience with me and taught me a lot of things. Now that's she's gone, things are not the same. When I see Shannon Lee talking about her father Bruce Lee and brother Brandon Lee, I can feel her missing them.

Shannon Lee is the head of the Bruce Lee Foundation. Just hearing her talk about the things she is doing concerning her father sounds interesting. Shannon makes you want to be there with her. It probably would be fun. Shannon travels, makes plans, and keeps a website of all the exciting news. What a great way to keep happy thoughts in memory of her father. It keeps us in memory of him too.

There are some things I would like to share with Shannon about her father, but I do not see it happening. Sometimes some things are not meant for you to share. That is why we need to be led to do things in life. It may sound crazy, but we need to be led on how to share and when to share. I have made some mistakes even in sharing with people. Sometimes people hurt, and you don't know how they might take things. There are some things that are only for you and given to you. If you don't believe me, keep on living. I get sort of sad wishing that I had known more about Brandon Lee. Thanks to my mom, I got a chance to learn something about him. She took me and my brother to the movies to see his movie, "The Crow". My brother knew that the movie came from a comic book. He was really into comics, but I knew nothing about, "The Crow".

I never knew about Brandon's other movies. I'm just finding out about the other movies that he made. In the movie, "Montage From Legacy of Rage", Brandon looks just like his father, Bruce Lee. He is so handsome.

Love Scenes

Brandon could make some pretty good love scenes. He made a love scene in Montage From Legacy of Rage and Rapid Fire. Usually, I don't watch love scenes. Sometimes what people call love scenes are not love scenes to me. There is too much trash and garbage. Brandon Lee made the best kind of love scenes. He made real love scenes. I liked the way Brandon did them.

I don't know how Brandon Lee was in real life, but I bet seeing him in love scenes made a million girls drown into the scenes, hoping, wishing, and dreaming.

When I was child, my mother would tell me something similar to what Bruce Lee said and he said to "empty your mind".

My mother would come home from work fussing about all the foolish talk she was around everyday. She would tell me, "You have to get rid of all the garbage that's in your head and make room for sensible things. The brain is just like your computer. Don't you have to clean it up and empty its trashcan? Sometimes you just need to sit down and think about nothing. You just need a peace of mind."

I understand now since I have been grown. Sometimes I have a million things going on in my head. When I am at work, there is noise, people, and stress. When I go home, there are still things on my mind that I need to do at home. At night when I lay down to sleep, my dreams are crazy. Being around positive people and things can help you to have a peace of mind. When you are around stress and negative things, you really need to practice what Bruce Lee said. He said, "Empty your mind."

It is said that Bruce Lee was constantly sick and weak when he was a child. Gradually he became robust and full of life. Growing up, Bruce Lee was involved in local street gangs and always into trouble. After learning Kung Fu, he sure did change, and he grew up. Reading Bruce's books, I see that he was an intelligent, sharing, and caring man. Kung Fu is like a sport, and it really helped Bruce. If it had not been for Kung Fu, Bruce might would have stayed in gangs and ended up dead sooner. Kung Fu gave Bruce Lee something to do. I believe it was a blessing from the Lord. The Lord works through many things, and he works with people different ways. I will say it again. Don't ever judge anyone. You don't know what the Lord is doing in a person's life.

The spirit of God talks to me. He tells me that I am growing up. I am beginning to see people for who and what they are. That is my ups and downs. I hate mind games, and I hate it when people are not real. I have suffered it all of my life. Most of the time, I stay distant. Wish I could meet someone like Bruce. He had talent and he was real. I wish that there were more people in the world like him. They seem very hard to find. I guess they keep their distance like me. I guess you can say growing up can be a part of Kung Fu.

Like Bruce Lee, I love sharing. It was a joy to me to have company and be with people that had something in common with me. I was always glad to bring joy into people's lives and teach them what I knew. However, I found something out the hard way about people. Still trying to share, I always share with the wrong people. My mother taught me how to share from a child. As I got older, she also had to teach me to leave well enough alone. People can take advantage of you and use you.

Bruce Lee wanted to share his Kung Fu, write about it, and establish it throughout the United Sates. Well, he did, although he may have had enemies. As I read Bruce Lee's books, I can hear my conscious say, "Share and love everyone. Quit being afraid. It's alright now."

My mother gave me good caution and told me something that was right when she said to leave well enough alone. After you have tried, if it doesn't work out, that's all that you can do. You can do too much or too little. I understand Bruce Lee's Kung Fu. I feel Bruce Lee, and spiritually, I think he feels me. He was more than fighting with his fist. God knew what he was trying to do. It's people that probably couldn't see and people judge in a negative way. I feel I am led and my eyes are opening.

Since 1969 I have been really willing this TV series to happen. At that time, I wanted all the indirect things - money, fame, the big opening nights. Now I have it, or am beginning to get it, the whole thing doesn't seem important any more. I have found that doing a thing is more important. I am having fun doing it (Words of the Dragon).

Shannon Lee is a great actress. I love her acting. If she would return to acting, I would like to see her in a television series. It would give me something to look forward to in watching television. If Shannon could make a big hit for television, that would be nice. Besides, there is not much on television these days. Shannon Lee could be number one.

There is one thing that I would love to see Shannon do. I would love to see her in a commercial practicing Kung Fu against her father. Laila Ali made a nice commercial, "Impossible Is Nothing", boxing against her father, Muhammad Ali, for Adidas. It was so neat how they made it look like Laila was actually boxing her father. It would be exciting to see Shannon Lee make a commercial practicing Kung Fu against her father. I would love to see that. We all miss Bruce Lee, and we love Shannon. Seeing them both together would be a creative project. In a commercial, Shannon could bring her father back just one more time.

Shannon Lee could do three things in acting. She could make commercials, movies, and a television series. With all of the special effects and technology that there is, Shannon could do great things in acting. She could also make things real along with it just as her father would have.

Gail: Sometimes on my job, there is a tremendous amount of work that needs to be done. We are suppose to work as a team, and sometimes there is just not enough help. Work needs to be shipped and finished. At first, I have a partner, but that partner has to go on something else. Sometimes I have to go on something else and concentrating on two and three jobs. So when I am alone, I have to use strategy on how to get the work out faster. Speed must increase. I have many motherboards to load. Usually, everyone has to load the components in them before they build them into modules. That could take all day. I solder components into a few motherboards and build them into modules right away. That makes the rest of the team have work and things began to move a little faster. Yet, it helps to have someone to solder components into motherboards and another person can build them into modules.

Sometimes, no matter where you go, it seems that people are all for themselves. They like to compete. They want all of the fame and glory and scared to see somebody else move up. It may seem that you are in the battle all alone. It is a battle doing yard work alone. It is a battle doing house work alone. Sometimes you are too tired to do house and yard work after you have been on your job all day. It is a battle to build when you are paying the man that is slack in his work. Money doesn't matter. People want to get paid, but they don't want to work for you. It is a battle to work hard, but nobody wants to pay you. It is a battle to find help when nobody wants to stick with you. It is all about self and self is no good. People that are about self can bring you down as they covet. So you stand alone. Never be a self centered person. Always help people if you can. Why should we be in the battle all alone? Life is like Kung Fu. There are many battles. I feel like I'm fighting the goddess of mercy with the 1000 arms. Sometimes you have to stop and rest in life or your body will let you know.

This is another song that I have written about the legendary Bruce Lee. I hope that you enjoy it. Luckily, I had the music made and recorded back in the 90's. So I did not have to worry about putting music together. Recording the music over again with me singing wasn't easy. There was static and a number of volumes and microphones to turn down to get it just right. Turning down volumes helped to take away a lot of static. It's not perfect, but good enough. There have been many clones of Bruce Lee, but there is only one Bruce Lee. Whether he is dead or alive, it is possible that he can be seen. If he is alive like some people say he is, it is up to him whether he wants to be seen. If Bruce is in heaven, he can be seen. I can hear Bruce in the privacy of my heart saying that there are heathens. Some people don’t believe anything, and so they never see anything. Sometimes we think we tap into things, but I believe that God show us things. He is the one that open our hearts, our eyes to see, and our ears to hear. It is God that makes things known to us. He gives us the mind to understand. God is knowledge and was here from the beginning.

Bruce Lee is a hidden man of disguise. He is there in what we read about him, what we write about him, and what we learn about him. Bruce is unseen. However, there are some people on this earth that are made to see what is invisible. The resurrection of Christ is a perfect example.

If people are hearing good messages that are true and seeing good things from heaven, I know that the Kingdom of Heaven is near and our loved ones that are there too. Believe. I feel Trinity. It is said that Bruce Lee was born the hour of the dragon. The Dragon is the creature of myth and legend. Bruce Lee is not about fairy tale. Bruce was a real man. To me, that makes Bruce Lee above the dragon. Chinese may believe different. Everybody has different beliefs, but whether we are Chinese or Americans, our beliefs may not always be right. Either a person is myth or either he is real. He cannot be both. Bruce Lee would want us to know the truth and see him as a real man. He would not want us to believe that he is a myth. Bruce Lee existed, is now sleeping, and will return again. Lee’s Cantonese birth name was Lee Jun-fan. It means “return again.” His mother gave him a great name. His mother’s name was Grace Ho, a Catholic, was of German and Chinese ancestry. His Father, Lee Hoi-Chuen, was Chinese.

If you have read about the Chinese horoscope, you might have read about people born in dragon years. We know that Bruce Lee is the best in Kung Fu. To me, he was and is superior. There are many people on this earth that fear people like Bruce Lee. A person with great knowledge and strength seems to be feared a lot. People often envy superior people.

The tenth commandment in the Bible is: Thy shall not covet anything that is our neighbor's. I understand why God made that commandment. When people covet, they kill, but not always with a gun. There are many ways to kill. When people covet, they steal by hurting you with lies and turning people against you. There are many things to steal. When one commandment is broken, all are broken.

No matter what a person of envy may do to someone superior, he still does not gain the gifts that God has given to the superior one. The person that envies misses out on what God has for him, and plus he has sinned against God. Remember the story of Cain and Abel (Genesis 4). There are many people that are all about gain, money, and power. If the hand of God is not involved in it, if the heart, soul, and mind is not with God, it stinks.

What Bruce Lee has done in his life was his life. Of course, there will never be another person exactly like Bruce Lee. It is possible that someone could out do him. Bruce has shown us Kung Fu and paved the way for others. Bruce Lee said to be yourself and express yourself. I would like to add that if any man lack something, he should ask God. (Matt. 7:7) Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

Bruce Lee wrote in his book how to make the forearm strong. I was very amused about what he had written. He said that you should find a pole or a column and begin hitting it with your forearm very lightly. It is to be done every day, hitting it with all parts of your forearm-front, back, and sides. Gradually, increase your striking force. Bruce wrote that you should go outside and find a tree to practice on. The tree should have lumpy bark on it. Bruce said that you should do this for one year. After one year, you should look to train on very smooth rocks. Bruce said to continue to practice on rocks until you can break them with your forearm. When you can do this, your arm will be as strong as iron (Book: The Tao of Gung Fu).

Back in the 90's, I went out side and hit my bare arm lightly up against a Silver Maple tree. It wasn't a great feeling because the bark felt rough and my arm was smooth. I have a little forearm. It's not much. I thought that Kung Fu would be too much for me to learn. I would probably have sore and broken bones. Some things I thought I could teach myself just by reading Bruce's book, but the things that he taught, you might not want to try at home. It is better to have a teacher like Bruce Lee. He is someone I wish that I could have met. I would have been more than happy to learn the basic Kung Fu from him.

Bruce Lee said to empty your mind. When I think of what he said, I think of all of the over crowded words in my memory. Words that gave me low-self esteem, words that hurt, and thoughts that came. I think of getting rid of all the negative things or else I have no room to think positive. People will try to stop you from being yourself when they see you reaching for higher standards. It always seemed like Bruce Lee was a part of my family although I never met him. He was Chinese, but the house hold I lived in loved him. It seemed everyone I knew loved him. All of my neighborhood friends loved him. We all watched his movies, and he became a part of our lives. Luckily, I was too small to understand death and that Bruce Lee died. I remember hard times while watching Bruce Lee. I knew nothing about fighting back, but watching Bruce Lee gave me the desire to learn. I did learn because I was bullied by someone all of the time at school. I was mistreated by grown folks and thought that I was not suppose to fight. Long after Bruce Lee died, he was still talked about and remembered. He changed my way of thinking.

We are all fighting some way in our lives today. Some of us are fighting hatred, some envy, some hunger, and some prejudice. We have to keep on fighting and praying. We must not give up. Bruce Lee never gave up. He kept on fighting.

I can not help but say that there was a man behind Bruce Lee and that man was Jesus. When I looked at Bruce Lee from childhood, I just saw Bruce Lee. Now that I am grown, I see the invisible in the life of Bruce Lee. I am not saying that Bruce Lee was perfect. I believe he was climbing up a ladder in knowledge and getting higher and higher through his martial arts. There is no one higher than God our heavenly father, and eventually we will have to face him whether we are good or bad. He is our creator. Jesus, his son is everywhere whether we want him to be or not. He pays attention to what we do, love us, and is willing to help us if we let him. I believe that Jesus loved Bruce Lee. I know he was somewhere behind him or else Bruce would not have been able to do the things that he did. Bruce was the best in what he did. He shared it and God allowed it. If God did not want it to be, it would not have happened. People are rejecting Christ the son of God, but there is just no way around him.

One day I was reading books and magazines on Bruce Lee. I read about some of his philosophy. I would say, "Mama, Bruce Lee said this and Bruce Lee said that."

Mama would say, "Hmm! Hmm! Bruce Lee understood nature and things about life. I know what he was talking about."

I began to flip through the pages of one of his books and said, "Some things that he said remind me of the Bible."

Mama said, "Yea, his philosophy is okay to read, but you stick with your Bible. Philosophy and religion is what man believes, but the Bible is truer than any man's philosophy or religion. The Bible teaches you about everything you need to know. It is God's holy word."

Even though I knew my mama was right, I still admired Bruce Lee. Knowing the Bible for myself did not make me criticize Bruce Lee's philosophy. Neither did it make my mother criticize, but as a mother, she wanted to make sure I got wisdom and knowledge the most correct way. Knowing the Bible, I could not disagree with some of the things Bruce Lee said. I found some truth in some things that he said in disguise of martial art. My mother understood some of Bruce Lee's philosophy and so did I through God's wisdom and knowledge. In a quick vision, I could see Bruce Lee smiling at me as I kept reading his philosophy. Why I could see him, and how I could see him, I did not know. It was something never explained to me that I had to learn on my own.

When I was a little girl in the late 70’s, I often talked about Bruce Lee. I thought he was a handsome guy. I said to my mother, “Mama, I’m going to marry me a Chinese man one day if I decide to get married.”

She said, “Oh, no, child. You might have to wait on him hand and foot.”

I asked, “Mama, was Bruce Lee married?”

She replied, “ Yes, I think so.”

I thought, “He’s too good. I bet Bruce Lee didn't make his wife do everything for him like Daddy lets mama do everything for him.”

Mama said, “Bruce Lee is Chinese, Gail. His custom is different. If you marry a Chinese man, you will have to learn his custom and his ways.”

Then I began to place my hand under my chin to think. I said, “Well, mama, Bruce Lee doesn’t look like that kind of Chinese.”

Mama looked at me and said, “ He might not be, Gail, but you can’t judge him by watching him on his movies. For example, everybody thinks good of your daddy, but they don‘t know him the way I do. I married him…..”
